RESEARCH POINTERS

The following blogs are for Master’s or doctoral level students writing research dissertations—quantitative or qualitative—in the psychological therapies: including counselling, psychotherapy, and counselling psychology.  They have been developed in collaboration with doctoral students on the University of Roehampton Doctorate in Counselling Psychology

The pointers are only recommendations, and from one particular perspective (midway-ish between realist and social constructionist standpoints). Different trainers, supervisors, and, most importantly, examiners, may see things very differently.
